Acupuncture is a way of healing by means of inserting needles and applying heat or electrical stimulation at very precise points in the body.
The classic Chinese explanation is that channels of energy run in regular patterns through the body and over its surface. These channels can be influenced by needling the acupuncture points. Acupuncture is perhaps the best known natural treatment for acute or chronic pain. It has also developed a strong reputation for helping to control appetite and craving and improve metabolism and digestion as well as helping with weight loss. Acupuncture has also helped hundreds of patients quit smoking and is used in the treatment of drug and alcohol abuse.
The benefits are extraordinary. Acupuncture promotes health and well-being, prevents illnesses and treats various medical conditions. In the hands of a well-trained practitioner, it has much broader applications. It can be used in the treatment of Digestive disorders, Respiratory disorders, Neurological and Muscular disorders, and Urinary, Menstrual or Reproductive problems. It is also particularly useful in resolving physical problems related to tension, stress, or emotional conditions.
Not only do we treat patients with acupuncture, however, we also employ the use of Herbal Remedies, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Nutritional and Lifestyle Counseling through a holistic approach to feeling as good as possible and expanding that sense of wellness.
Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Ancient Health Care system of which acupuncture is a part, works wonders.
1. It can help prevent illness and disease
2. It activates the self-healing and self-regulating abilities of the body.
3. It adjusts and balances the flow of vital life energy, called Qi
4. It can help you achieve optimal health, vitality, and well-being.
