On your first visit to our office, you will be welcomed by one of our staff members who will greet you with a warm smile. You will then be asked to fill out our required forms, if you have not already done so online, which will help us gain some information about you and your condition. The doctor will then talk with you and ask you some specific questions regarding your condition to determine if Chiropractic Care, Physical Therapy, and/or Acupuncture may be of benefit to you. If the doctor can help you, they will let you know, but if they cannot, and none of the services available will be a likely match, you will be referred to another doctor in the local area that may be able to give you proper assistance.

After a thorough consultation in our office with the doctor, you will have a complete chiropractic examination. This will include standard orthopedic, neurologic, postural, and physical examinations. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition. If necessary, the doctor may take X-rays for the evaluation of a patient. The need for X-rays is considered on a case by case basis.

Once all the information and examinations have been performed, the doctor will give you a report of the findings and tell you what he or she recommends for treatment. Consequently, you will get answers to questions such as: What is wrong with me? Can you fix it? How long will it take? Will I be okay?

Most patients begin to see results from the very first adjustment. Our gentle and effective alignment of the body is interactive with the patient, gentle enough for kids, yet able to restore function and movement for the athlete and the senior. Physical Therapy and Acupuncture may also be considered in your treatment plan, as they can help to speed up the healing process.

Before leaving, you will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat applications, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises.

Regular treatment is essential to the process. We work our treatment around your schedule. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1 – 2 days of their initial visit and are provided with a complete review of findings. Treatment options for your condition will also be discussed at this time

Pain Center of Morris accepts most insurance providers. We also accept self-pay, and we have established payment plans to help you have a hassle-free financial experience.
